Privacy policy

How TARS™ INTEL collects, uses, holds and discloses personal information.

Version 2.0 · Effective 3 August 2026 · Supersedes v1.2

1 · Who we are

(ABN ), trading as TARS™ INTEL, operates the Platform at tarsintel.io. We are the entity responsible for personal information collected through the Platform. Contact: support@tarsintel.io.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2 · Service delivery architecture

CLAUSE 2.1The Platform operates on a server-side computation model at every subscription tier. Intelligence scores are computed by the TARS engine running in a secured cloud environment under our control and are delivered to subscriber interfaces as described below.

Score visualisation mode — Explorer, Pilot, Planet

CLAUSE 2.2Subscribers at Explorer, Pilot and Planet tiers receive server-computed intelligence rendered as visual output: the score ring, regime classification, alert triggers, and tier-appropriate intelligence panels. No API credentials, API keys or programmatic data access are provided or available at these tiers. Delivery is exclusively through the TARS™ INTEL web interface.

Intelligence API mode — Galaxy only

CLAUSE 2.3Galaxy subscribers receive programmatic access to the TARS Intelligence API, including score feeds, regime state, signal classifications and asset-level intelligence, via authenticated API key. API access is subject to the rate limits, permitted use restrictions and data licensing terms in the Galaxy Terms.

CLAUSE 2.4The Platform does not operate in a client-side computation mode. The intelligence engine does not execute in the subscriber's browser at any tier.

CLAUSE 4.2Telemetry is assessed by automated processes. Where usage patterns are materially inconsistent with a subscriber's established pattern or with the terms of their tier, automated measures including rate limiting may be applied, and the matter may be escalated for review.

Personal information may therefore be stored and processed outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

7 · Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only to service providers who support the Platform (cloud infrastructure, authentication, payment processing), to professional advisers, and where required by law.

8 · Your rights

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. Write to support@tarsintel.io. If you are dissatisfied with our handling of a privacy matter you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

9 · Security

Authentication uses signed tokens verified on every request. Data in transit is encrypted. The scoring engine is not distributed to client devices at any tier. Access to production systems is restricted.

10 · Changes

We may amend this policy. The current version and its effective date appear at the foot of this page. Material changes will be notified to subscribers by email.
